Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group officially announced the sequel to LEGO Batman Video Game released in 2008. It is expected to appear on shelves beginning Summer 2012. And this once again confirms that this summer will be very hot. To add new experience to gameplay classical Batman and Robin duet will be diluted with other DC Universe heroes, such as Superman, Wonder-Woman and Green Lantern. The action will take place at Gotham (May be we will understand how the Justice League leadership has gone to Batman?). Some villains also have left their asylums. For example Lex Luthor has abandoned Metropolis to fight Superman. Joker and Two-Face will also take place in the upcoming riots.
We are going to see in the game scenes already introduced in the new wave of LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes sets

Game will be released on many platforms as usually. XBox 360, Play Station3, Nintendo DS, Play Station Vita, Nintendo Wii and PC are officially announced.
Mac OS X and iOS are not mentioned, but if we recall original LEGO Batman Video Game and LEGO Harry Potter Video Game, then we will be pretty sure that LEGO won't miss such a plum.

Also all of us are pretty sure that LEGO will release LEGO Lord of the Rings or LEGO Hobbit Video Game, but i think it will be released closer to the movie release, at Autumn, why should they release two different video games at the middle of the year? It is better to release one at Summer, at other at the end of autumn.
